Point of the story : Travelling by time machine had made Pasha and his friends stuck in the future. The technology in the future made them impress, but they also suffered with the wheather. When the sun shone very extremely hot, they had to wear a very thick clothes to prevent the UV light from the sun which is caused by global warming. The hot sunlight also invited the aliens from other planet to attack the earth. Didn’t want to get injured, Pasha and his friends had to repair the time machine that broke right after they arrived in the future.







CHAPTER ONE
PASHA
When I was a child, I always wondered why do people have to be a grown-up someday. I mean, being a child is rock. You have a mother and a father who will always spoil you and if you do something stupid, they won’t get mad at you. But, now I understand why we can’t be a child for good. Because being a teenager is more than rock. And do you know what is the coolest thing of being a teenager? You can have many friends. Friends that will always be on your side in every situation.
Well, my name is Pasha. I’m an eleventh grader. My favorite lesson is Physic, it’s kinda weird because more than a half of students at school hate this lesson. I want to be a mechanist someday, and that’s why I love this lesson. I always do my best to pursue my dream. Some says that I’m a workaholic ( well, I don’t think workaholic is the right word, cause I’m just a student. how about studyholic?) but they all love me. And though nobody is perfect, I try to be a perfect boy.
Most of the students at school knows me, but I have eight closest friends, that I always called my best friends.
First, there is Nazril. Maybe his name reminds you to one of the famous vocalist from our local band. But not, he’s not that guy. Not even close. However, he is kindhearted. Actually he is smart, but unfortunately he’s careless.
Next, I have Adelia. She’s a tomboy girl, talk-ative, and loved to be spoilt. She wears glasses. Before I know her, I heard some rumours that she wears glasses to cover her identity who is the daughter of the Governor. But, after I know her, I knew that the rumours is totally a fake. She wears glasses because she loves reading very much and her eyes are minus. For those who don’t know her, she may seem a little bit arrogant and bossy. Actually, she’s a pretty and kindness girl.
Josh, what can I say about this boy? Clearly, he’s the most wanted guy at school. More and more girls adore him. When you walk beside him , you’ll feel like you’re invisible. Because all the eyes look straight to the charming handsome creature beside you. Sometimes I wonder why do the God made a perfect boy like that. He’s smart, that’s why all the teachers love him. He’s tall, bright skinned, and handsome of course. That make all the girls love him. And he’s very care to all of his friends, that’s why I love him.
Toyib, strong-minded boy. The wisest among us. Eventhough he comes from a little family, he can make friends with everybody. He’s easy going too. The priority of his life is his family, and he always says that we are apart of his family.
After that, Ahong. Who doesn’t know him? Everybody knows him, the students, the teacher, even the security knows him well. Not because he’s as smart and handsome as Josh, but because he’s the son of CEO of the big and success company in this state, and he’s the only Chinese boy at school. Ahong is a little arrogant, that’s why some people don’t like him. He always thought that he can have everything he wants because he has a lot of money. But the good thing is, he always share his property to us.
Siti is the only person among my best friends who has a job. She works part time at the fast food restaurant near the school. Sometime she helps her mother in the laundry. She’s very friendly and always be there whenever we need her.
Well, this friend of mine make me have to close my ears whenever she talk or yell. Why? Because she has a very bad loud voice. Her name is Nunung. She’s very hyperactive and can’t sit still just for an hour. But the good thing is, she’s down to earth.
Last, there is Asep. Hm, just from his name you can guess that he is a Sundanese. This forgetful boy is sometimes can be so introvert . He’s truly believe to a trial and error method. That’s why he never give up upon everything.
Well, enough about my friends. Better if I told you how we met for the first time until we can be best friends.
I, Toyib, Siti, Nunung, and Asep are from the same Junior High School. We knew each other for such a long time. And we register to the same Senior High School. Harapan High School. We joined the test, and surprisingly we all got it. In the morning of our very first day at new school, we were told to wear a hat from plastic and for the girls, they had to bunch their hair into two part.
Siti was getting mad because I said that her hair looked like the horse’s tail and we all laughed. When the bell rang, we separated to different group. But we still always together. The days gone. Unfortunately, on the third day, we all were late. I knew long before I arrive at school the punishment would welcome us just right after our feet pass the school gate. And it was true. We stood separately from other students. It was a coincidence because Nazril, Nunung, Josh, and Ahong were late too. And that’s the first time I met them. From then on we became best friends.


That morning, I began to school after a long holiday. At school I shared all my experiences when holiday and so did my friends. The bell rang, so I and my friends enter the class soon. We were ready to study.
It was very very quite when suddenly there was a voice of knocking door. Tok…tok…tok… One of the school employee came in.
“Sorry for bothering all of you, the head master called Pasha to come to his office as soon as possible. Thank you”
I was surprised. Did I do something wrong? Would I be punished? But I go to his office anyway.
“ Come in,” said the head master’s voice.
He stared as Pasha came to the office.
“ Well, congratulations Pasha, I’m so proud of you”,
“ What? I don’t understand Sir, What do you congratulate for?” What’s is this all about. I was so confused.
“ Congratulatons because you got the scholarship,”
“Really, Sir? What did I get the scholarship? I’m not that smart, Sir. I think Josh much smarter than me,”
“ Your smart in mechanic makes you got the scholarship, and Josh got it too, but in the different subject of course, everybody have their own capability.”
“Oh, okay Sir, thank you very much,”
I was very very happy. Who knows that I would got the scholarship. I never ever thought that my interested in mechanic can brought a scholarship to me.
When I came back to the class, all of my friends stared at me curiously. Well, well, well, I could read their mind. But what happened in the head master’s room is a surprised. I wasn’t gonna tell them, not now. I came to the class with my smile on my face. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize that Mrs. Stebel, the most killer teacher at school, look at me.
“ Pasha, where have you been?” said her angrily.
“ Oh, I’m sorry ma’am. The head master called me to his office,”
“Really? And what kind of punishment did you got?” interrogate her.
“Not punishment Ma’am, the head master said that I got a scholarship,” Suddenly, all of my friends looked very surprised. Oh my God, Mrs. Stebel has just opened my secret. And hearing my answer, she became speechless.
“Ok then, you can back to your seat”, said her after a few moment.
All of my friends interrogated me right after I sit.
“Is that true, Pasha?” asked Nunung.
“I got a scholarship too, we’re same,” said Josh
“Well, I…”
“AND SILENCE,” Mrs. Stebel cut off our conversation.
The bell rang, time to break now. I and my friends went to the canteen. They looked so hungry, but actually I wasn’t hungry.
“Let’s buy some toasts,” said Siti.
“I’d rather buy pizza, my favorite food,” said Ahong.
“Guys, you can see, it is very crowded at the canteen. Why don’t we go to the library?” suggested me.
“Are you crazy? Who are you and what have you done to our Pasha? Come on, in the library when the break time, what kind of people are you?” yelled Toyib.
“ Time is Money. Beside, I want to read about mechanic, and I’m not hungry,” said me.
“Ok, we’ll go to the canteen and you go to the library. See you at the class,” said Asep.
In the class, the teacher hadn’t came.Pasha told his friends all about mechanic that he read at the library.
“ Guys, I read something interesting about mechanic at the library,” told me.
“ About what?” asked Adelia.
“ About the time machine. It was very great. You should read it. We can see the future and the past,” answered me.
“ Who invented it?” asked Nazril.
“ I don’t know, but the book said that the time machine had sent two people to the future. I wish I could make a time machine someday,” said me.
“Well, keep dreaming Boy,” said Josh. After that, the teacher came in.
“Why? You don’t believe that I could make a time machine?” said Pasha.
“ Ssh…the teacher is in, “ said Nunung.
“But, I just want to explain about……”
“Enough about this discussion,okay?” said Ahong.
It was a very cold morning, the rain fell heavily so we couldn’t go to the canteen. We just sat outside the class in the school corridor. I didn’t know why, but I couldn’t stop staring at the room on the edge of the school corridor. It was just like there was something that always makes me to come to that room. Some people called that room the secret room, nobody entered to it for years. It was said that the room is scary and very very dangerous. That’s why nobody never come in to that room, they even didn’t want to get any closer.
“What do you staring at?” ask Siti.
“ What? Nothing. I was just wondering about the room at the edge of this corridor, the secret room. I don’t know, but I feel that there’s something interesting there,” answered me.
“ Are you insane? That room is scary. I don’t even want to get any closer,” said Adelia.
“ Please don’t say that you want to get in,” said Asep.
“ No, I don’t. At least, not now,” said me.








CHAPTER 2
JOSH
Something weird happened this morning. When I entered the class and went to my locker, I found a bouquet of rose and a bar of chocolate in it. Who sent them to me? Well, whoever sent them, they must be don’t know much about me. I hate chocolate and there’s nothing you can do with flowers but pour them on the graveyard. I looked a note on a chocolate, then I found who sent it, it was Jeniffer Blue, a girl whose name I had never know before. She said that she is my secret admire. But, I didn’t care. Sometimes I wondered, why is the girls always chasing me? Yeah, I knew the answer. Because I’m the most wanted guy in school. They loved me because I’m handsome, they loved me because I’m smart. Wait, here was the problem, if I’m smart I should have known the answers of every questions. But, last night Asep called me and said that Pasha was interested with the secret room on the edge of the corridor. Why was he interested with that room? Well, I didn’t have an answer for this question. I meant, how could someone can be so interested with that scary, smell bad, and dirty room? There were nothing interesting there. At least for me, and for the other normal people.

It was after school. Actually , that was a perfect day to play football or basket. But pasha came to me and he said this,
“Josh, do you know the secret room at the edge of the school corridor?”
“Yeah, I know,” said me. “What did you ask me that question?”
“Mm..yeah.. I don’t know why but I feel interested with that room. I think, perhaps there’s something there. Something…wonderful…or…great,”
“Well, I don’t think so,” said me quickly.
“Oh, please, I really want to enter that room, but I don’t want to do that alone,”
“Why don’t you ask Nunung, Toyib, Ahong, or the others? I’m busy now,”
“Busy? But you’re doing nothing now,”
“Yeah, but I……”
“That room is more interesting than just sitting down here and see the empty class, plus, Jennifer Blue will be here in any minute, I know this is her favorite place,”
“O really? Then let’s go,”
“You’ll go? To the secret room? Oh, thank you,”
“Yes I’ll go….to my home,”
Pasha looked very disappointed.

Today, Pasha started to pursue our friends to enter the secret room with him.
“Guys, you know that our school has a secret room. It’s said that the room is very scary. And it had never been opened for years. What if we enter that room together? That’ll be interesting,”
“No Pasha,” said Adelia. “You know that room is scary and I don’t want to take a risk.”
“Right, you don’t recklessness,” supported Ahong.
“ Well, it’s better than curious,” said Pasha. “Come on guys!”
“We’ll think about that later,” said me.
“Josh, you’re a smart guy, do you believe in something stupid like that?” said Pasha.
“Well, I….I…..”
“Josh, don’t believe in what he said,” said Nazril.
“Guys, I think Pasha’s right, there’s nothing dangerous at the secret room, maybe it’s just a myth,” said me.
“Thank’s Josh,” said Pasha.
“You agree with him just because he said you are smart,” whispered Siti. I just smiled

“So, here we are, standing in front of the secret room,” said Nazril.
“I’m scared,” said Nunung.
“Calm down, I’ll responsible for this okay,” said Pasha.
After arguing so long, we decided to enter the room, but we must take the risk if something happen inside the room.
“Okay, let’s go,” said me.
The room is so dark, and there’s no lamp inside. Luckily, we brought a flashlight. The dust covered almost all of the things. The walls were mossy. But the room was larger than their class.
“This is disguisting, let’s get out of here,” said Asep when he touched a dusty bookshelf.
“Wait, what is that? On the corner beside the bookshelf?” said Adelia.
“Let’s see that closer,” said Pasha.
“Guys, believe it or not but I guess that thing looks like a machine,” said me.
“A machine?” repeated Pasha. “Wow , I can’t believe it. We have just found a machine, isn’t that amazing?”
The others tried to see the machine more clearly. It was a very big machine, its height was as tall as us.
“Can we use this machine? Josh, show me how to operate this machine?” asked Pasha to me.
“No, Pasha, I don’t think we can repair this machine. It had been kept here for years, maybe it’s totally broken. A machine will be damaged if it hadn’t been used for such a long time, and so will this machine, so I think there’s no way we can’t repair this machine,” answered me.
Pasha looked very disappointed.
“Oh, come on, maybe somehow we can find a way to repair this,” said him.
“ I don’t know Pasha. Plus we don’t know the benefit of this machine, we don’t even know what kind of machine is this,” said me.
“ Yeah, Pasha. And perhaps that machine is dangerous, that’s why this is kept here for years,” said Toyib.




CHAPTER 3
SITI
Everybody has their own unforgatable experience, including me. I worked part time at the fastfood restaurant as a waitress near the school. There were so many reasons why I decided to have a job. But, because my family is poor is not one of them. I just want to be independent and get money by myself. Well, someday when I took a night shift, there was an oldman came to the restaurant and ordered a tuna sandwich and a coke. I was the only waitress who took the night shift, he started a conversation with me. He told all about his life, including his love life, about his job, and about everything as if I were his grand child. We talked until mid night, and after that, before he went home, he gave me a tip Rp200.000,00. That was my best experience of becoming a waitress, and that was my best xperience too so far.
But, how about my worst experience? Well, right now is my worst experience, when I was in the secret room at the school. The room that I had never thought would be in when I register myself to this school. It was said that that room is very dangerous and scary. But Pasha force us to get in to the secret room. Actually, I really didn’t want to get in, but I didn’t want to left behind too. So, I was in. honestly, the room wasn’t as scary as most people said. And what made us interesting, especially Pasha, was a very big machine in the corner of the room. Pasha wanted to operate the machine, but Josh told him that we can’t repair the machine.
Pasha wouldn’t give up. He felt sure that the machine could be repaired. He was very curious and obsessed with that. So, he browsed on the internet, went to the library, and he event asked our physic teacher Mr. Lie, who was a very good mechanist, to found out a way to repaired the machine. But still, we didn’t know how to do it.
Actually, I had a secret that I didn’t tell my friends about. Yesterday, before we went out from that secret room, I saw an old book near the machine. And when my friends were busy examined the machine, I took the book and kept it in my bag.
Last night, I read that book. I wasn’t a person who interested in mechanic. And there were some words that I didn’t understand. So, I gave that book to Josh when he was on computer lab.
“Hi Siti,” said Josh when he looked me entered the lab.
“Josh, I want to tell you something. When we entered the secret room, I found a book near the machine. I took it, I don’t know why, but I felt that the book is important. When I read it, I found some words that I didn’t understand. So, I need your help,” told me.
“Why don’t you tell us about that? But, never mind. Come on, give me the book,” said Josh. I opened my bag and gave the book to him.
Josh read the book seriously. So, I started to play a game on the computer.
“Hey, hey, look at this,” said Josh after a few moment.
“What?”
“Look at this picture, this looks like a machine that we saw in the secret room,” said him.
“Really? Let me see, Josh”
“Read it Siti, this book tells us how to repair the machine, we have to tell Pasha,”

“Guys, this is amazing,” said Pasha when Josh and Siti told him about the book. “So, we could repair the machine. Come on we have to tell the others about this and come back to the secret room again,”
So, we told all of our friends and came back to the secret room.
“Let’s see how to fix this thing,” said Josh while he reading the book. “ It is said that we have to memasang sekrup-sekrup yang terlepas dulu, lalu membersihkan debu-debu yg menutupi mesin, setelah itu kita harus memasang kabel yang terlepas dan menyambungnya kembali.”
“Let’s do it then,” said Ahong.
We were busy for a long time tried to repair the machine.
“Okay Nazril, have you memasang the last cable?” ask Toyib.
“Yes, I have already do that,” said Nazril.
“Well, the book said if we already memasang the last cable, then we have to turn on this machine by press a button on the right side of the machine. Oh, here’s the button. Do you want me to press this?” ask Josh.
“Yeah, of course, that’s why we here for, to operate the machine,” said Pasha quickly.
Then, Josh pressed the button. And suddenly, the machine worked. It sounded very noisy, and just like the lamp, it sprayed the light. Very bright, so that they have to close their us for a moment. Behind the light, they saw something like doors that made from the glass.
“Yeeeee…we got it,” cried Adelia, and all of us claped our hand.
“I know we can do it,” said me.
“But wait, does one of you knows what machine is this?” said Josh.
“Oh yeah, I didn’t think about it,” said Pasha.
We were confused. We really didn’t know about the machine. Then we separated around the room to find a clue about the machine. But we didn’t find anything. Until,
“Hey, Josh, can I borrow the book?” ask Pasha.
“Yes, but what will you do with the book?” said Josh as he gave the book to Pasha.
“Maybe we can find something to tell us what the machine is in this book,” said Pasha.
“You’re right, how can I didn’t think about it before,” said Josh.
And then, we started to read the book together to find out what machine is that.
“Hey, look at the second paragraph, I think it tell us about the machine,” said Nunung.
All of us read the second paragraph.
“…….The machine is the……what is that? I can’t read it. The page is dirty,” said Asep.
“It’s look like a T, and it’s an L, oh no no, it’s an I, and next it’s an N or W, oh no it’s an M, and last it’s and E, and the next word, I think it’s machine. So, this is, a TIME MACHINE? Oh my God, the book said that is a time machine,” said Pasha. “I can’t believe it, I always dream of finding or making a time machine someday, and today I really see the real time machine!”
“YEEE….” We all cried very loud.
“Why don’t we try this machine? We go to the past, that’ll be interesting,” ask Pasha.
“Not so fast, Pasha. We never even try this machine before. I’m afraid if something bad happen when we use this machine,” said me.
“But I’m sure we could come back,” said Pasha.
“How could you be so sure?” ask Ahong.
“Well, we just have to bring this book, because this book tells us everything about the machine,” said Pasha.
“I don’t think it would be that easy,” said Josh.
“Yeah, honestly, I’m scared,” said Nunung.
“Oh, come on guys, then why did we repair this machine if you didnt’t want to use it?” said Pasha. He never stoped forcing us.





















CHAPTER 4
AHONG
Everybody wants to be me, I guess. Just for one reason, because my family is very very rich. They always give me everything. They don’t think about the price, all they think about is my happiness. But the bad impact is, I always think that everything can be bought by money. When I grew up, I found there are some things that can’t be bought by money. One of them is friendship. You can’t have friendship though you spend billion of rupiahs. Another thing that I know can’t be bought by money is some thing that I and my friend found at that moment. A time machine. I used to see it at the movie or comic, but this moment, I saw it right in front of me.
He forced us to use that machine. I was disagree, because nobody could guarantee that we would be safe. But still, he wouldn’t give up.
“Oh, come on guys, then why did we repaired this machine if you didn’t want to use it?” said him.
We were silent and said nothing for a few minute.
“I think Pasha’s right, if we had repaired that machine, then we have to tried it,” said Josh then.
“Who can guarantee our safety?” asked me.
“All of us, maybe we can find about it at the book,” said Josh.
“Why don’t we try to send a thing first, like a pillow or candy, to see what will happen,”said Toyib.
“And do you think pillow or candy have a mouth to tell us what happen to them? That’s silly,” protested Pasha.
“Okay, those who agree to go please rise your hand,” said Josh.
Josh, Pasha, Nunung, Adelia, Nazril, and Asep rise their hands. Eventually, after a few moment I, Siti, and Toyib rise our hands too.
“Great,” said Pasha. “So, you all are agree,”
“Where would we go?” asked Siti.
“To the future or the past?” asked Nazril.
“I think we’d better go to the future, that’ll be very fantastic,” suggested Pasha. “What about 500 years later? Let see if there are still a human race or a new race that replace it,”
“Hey, that’s a good idea,” said me.
“Let’s go,” said Pasha.
Josh turned on the machine, after that we got in to the machine. We opened the door behind the light and came in.
“Are you guys ready?” said Josh.
“YES……”
Then he pressed the green button beside him. Suddenly, we felt like we were sucked up into a big whole, we moved so fast, like we were being pushed to other dimention, and we were shaken and hit each other. I could hear my friends screamed. I felt very queasy. And after that scary moment, I saw a bright light in front of me, like on the edge of this journey. And we hit that light, I felt blind by the light.
The light was disappear. We landed on the large field. There were no trees. Josh opened the machine door. When we out of the door, we could feel that the sun light was very very hot.
“I think this is the future, 500 years later,” said Pasha.
“It’s very hot here, my skin is like burn,” said me.
“I don’t like to be here, It’s very quite and I don’t think that there are any human being here,” said Siti.
“Hey, hey, look at this, I think the time machine is broken, you can see the smoke from it,” said Josh.
“Oh no, you mean we can’t go back?” said Nunung loudly.
“Calm down, why don’t we just looking around, let’s see the life in the future,” said Pasha.
“Are you insane?” said Siti.
“No, oh come on girl, we’re in the future, we can repair this machine later. Beside, we bring the book,” said Pasha.
“Ok, ok, but where should we go?” asked me. “Do you have a map?”
“Of course not. But we don’t need a map anyway. I guess I know the way out of this field. I saw a kind of exit door right there,” Pasha pointed toward a door.
“Ok, let’s go,” said Josh.
Pasha was right. That was an exit door. When we were outside the field, we saw an amazing scenery. There are many robots in the street, and there are flying cars too. Then, we heard a very noisy sound. Surprisingly, it was a flying train which was pulled by a rocket. The buildings was very high and their architecture were weird but beautiful.
“This is amaing,” said Adelia.
“I had never thought about such things like this before,” said Josh.
“Too bad we didn’t bring camera,” said Nazril. Hey look! Why do the people dress up like that?” He pointed toward the people who crossed the street. They wore a very thick trench coat and they used sunglasses too.
“I don’t know for sure,” said Asep. “It can’t be winter, right? Not when the sun shine very bright and very very hot. I guess the temperature must be high, maybe about 40 C.”
“Yeah, this is very hot. I don’t think I can hold out from this weather,” said Nunung.
“My skin feels like burning,” said me.
We continued our journey, tried to ignore the hot sun light. We saw more amazing things. There was even a flying robot. But we hadn’t see the local houses anywhere. I thought we were in the downtown, where there were many buildings and offices. We didn’t have a conversation with the people too, because they looked not friendly at all. And there were no trees everywhere.
The day was getting darker. We were very tired, hungry, and thirsty. We didn’t know where else to go. We didn’t bring any book and we didn’t know where to get it. Plus we didn’t have money.
And we realized that was impossible to get back to our broken time machine. We had gone too far from the field. Now, we were lost. I, personally, really wanted to blame Pasha. But I didn’t have enough energy to do that. And the day was getting worse.
We just keep trying to find a place to rest and get some food. Suddenly, there was someone who walked into us. It was a man. When he got closer, he smiled to us.
“Good evening, what are you doing here? It’s a very cold night,” asked him.
“Well, we are lost. We really don’t know where we are now,” answered Josh.
“You’re now in the Red Street, the most sophisticated city in the world. Just tell me where is your home. And I’ll walk you there,” said the man.
“Actually, we don’t have a home here. It’s a long story about how did we get here,” said me.
“Wow, it’s kinda weird. But I think I’d be very happy if you are come to my house. You need eat and rest. You’re looked very mess,” said the man.
“Well, I don’t know…..” said Adelia.
“Oh, I see, we’re not suppose to believe to the strangers,” said the man.
“No, we’d like to come to your house,” said Pasha.
“Okay, shall we go now? My home is not far from here,” said the man. “By the way my name is Codastein, but just call me Cody,”
“My name is Pasha, and these are my friends. Josh, Ahong, Toyib, Asep, Nazril, Adelia, Nunung, and Siti,” said Pasha.
A few moment later, we arrived at Cody’s house.
It was an amazing home. I had never seen a home like that before. It was a big home and I felt like the house could produce the light by its own wall. So that it could illuminate the things around the house. And there was a robot which opened the door to let us come in to the house.
“Good evening, Cody,” said the robot.
“Hi, PD,” said Cody.
“Who are they,?” the robot pointed toward me and my friends.
“They are my friends. Don’t worry PD, they are nice and friendly,” answered Cody.
We were very impressed with Cody’s house. There were so many sophisticated things in it. The roof was amazing. It could change automatically. So, if it was night but you wanted to feel the morning sun, then the roof would change into a morning sky, as if it was a real morning, just by pressed the button on the wall. There was a multifunction table too. The table could change into bed, sofa, television, or even car. And there were laso many robots which did the house keeping. Life seemed very easy.




CHAPTER 5
Nunung
Cody’s house was amazing. He had so many robots which helped him as a housemaid. Cody was a nice guy too. He invited us to have a dinner. He knew that we were very hungry. So, he served many food. First, I felt a little worry about the food. I wondered what kind of food that people usually eat in the future. Apparently, the food wasn’t very different with what we eat in our world. In fact, the food was extremely delicious. Cody served us barbeque, fish steak, and brownies as the dessert. The different thing was the way to served it. In the past, if we want to serve those food, we need at least 30 minutes preparing. But, in the future, it only took 5 minutes. Cody just need to tell one of the robot about the menu that he ordered. An then, his order would come soon.
As we ate, we had some conversations.
“So, why don’t don’t you tell me about your life in the past?” asked Cody. “I’m very curious about that,”
“Yes, of course, why not?” said Josh. “Well, we are just some 16 years old teenagers. We go to school every day and sometimes we hang out at the mall together. Just to have some fun. We live with our parents too. By the way, where are your parents?”
“My parents live far away from here. In the future, we’re no longer live with them since we were eleven. They gave me this house and the robots to care of me. I’m 22 now. “So, you said that you go to school every day. What kind of school is that? Because in the future, kids don’t go to school. They are homeschooling and taught by a robot. One child one robot.”
“Really?” said me. “Well, the school is in a one building and we and other kids go there to study together. The buildings in our era aren’t as high as the buildings in the future. And the sun isn’t very hot as in here too. I’m very suffered with the sunlight.”
“You have to be careful with the sunlight,” said Cody. “It is dangerous because it contains the ultraviolet light that can attack your skin. Even you can get the skin cancer. So, next time if you want to go outside the house. You have to wear a thick clothes like mine. These clothes are designed to block the UV light which is caused by global warming. That’s why the sun is very hot and dangerous.”
“Wow, that’s terrible,” said Pasha.
“Yeah, it is. You know, the hot sunlight can also invite the aliens from other planets to attack this earth. It happened sometimes. And the aliens are very dangerous,” said Cody.
“Are you kidding?” then how did you survive when the aliens attack?” asked Toyib curiously.
“Well, I’ll tell you how, if only you promise that you can keep my words. It’s a big secret,” answered Cody.
“Ok, we promise. Come on! Tell us,” said Siti.
“I have a flying ride. It is called Drive-X. it can fly very fast. So, when the aliens attack, I just have to ride my Drive-X and a few seconds later, I’m in the sky where the aliens can’t reach me. I keep it in the secret room somewhere in this house. I won’t tell you where is it. At least, not now,” explained Cody.
“Interesting, where did you got the Drive-X?” asked Nazril.
“It’s a legacy from my grandfather. Nobody has Drive-X except me. So, I have to keep it very carefully,” answered Cody calmly. “Well, guys, there’s something that I always ask to myself about. How did you get here?”
“It’s a long story, Cody,” said Adelia.
“I’ve got time,” replied Cody.
“Okay, it began when Pasha wondered about the secret room in our school. Some people said that the room is very dangerous. But, Pasha persuaded us to enter that room. So, we did. And surprisingly, we found a machine in it. Pasha wanted to repair the machine so much. When we finally fixed it, we figured out that is the time machine. First, we didn’t want to use it. But Pasha persuaded us again to try the machine. Then, we did and the next moment, here we are, stuck in the future,” told Josh.
“Oh, I see. Time machine? Wow, that’s fantastic. Even in this era, time machine is hard to be found,” said Cody. “So, when do you plan you’ll get back to your era?”
“I…I don’t know. Because, actually the time machine is damage right after we arrived here. So, we left it at the field near the high building in the downtown,” answered me.
“That’s too bad. Do you know how to fix it?” said Cody.
“Unfortunately we don’t,” answered Adelia. “Could you please help us repairing the machine? You know, I really want to go back. But, it doesn’t mean that regret to meet you. I just feel that…I don’t belong here,”
“Don’t worry, I understand. Well, I guess I have to see your machine first. What if we go to the field tomorrow?”
“Hey, that sounds great!” said Ahong.
“Oh, Cody thank you very much. You’re our only hope. We must repair it soon. I can’t live forever in the unknown era. And I miss my family,” said Siti.
“It’s okay girl, I’ll do my best to fix it. Now, we’d better go to sleep. We need to wake up early tomorrow. Come on, I’ll take you to your bedroom,” said Cody.
Then, we went to the bedroom. It was the most amazing bedroom I’ve ever seen. When you had a first step on that room, then the lamp would automatically turn on. Though the room wasn’t very large, but it looked great. The bed was very very soft and you could control the temperature on the blanket. And if you want to turn off the lamp, all you’ve got to do just clap your hands, and clap again if you want to turn it on. The roof was like the night sky. Eventhough it was just a roof, but it seemed as high as the sky and completed by stars and the moon, and sometimes meteor or comet.
“Ok girls, good night. The girls will sleep here and the boys will sleep in the next room,” said Cody.

When I woke up, I felt fresh and relax. I looked at the clock beside my bed. It was 05.00.Too early to wake up. Adelia and Siti still slept. So, I was just lying down in my bed and stared at the roof which now turned into the morning sky. The sun had just rise
An hour later, I heard my bedroom’s door was being knocked. I opened it. There was a robot stood in front of me.
“Good morning, miss. Mr. Cody asked me to wake you up and go to the kitchen to have breakfast, “ told the robot
“All right, I’ll be there in a minute,” said me.
Next, I woke Adelia and Siti. Then, we swam in a hurry (there was a swimming pool in the bathroom). After we finished dress up, we went to the kitchen. The boys and Cody were waiting.
“Okay, everybody’s here. So, after this, we’ll go to the field to see your time machine,” said Cody while we had breakfast.
After we finished our breakfast, Cody took us to the living room. He gave us clothes. A very thick clothes.
“Remember what I said aboiut the sunlight? That’s dangerous. You need to wear that,” said Cody.
We wore it. They were totally uncomfortable to be worn.
“Whooah,,,I feel hot,” said Josh loudly.
“So do I, but never mind, it is for our safety anyway,” replied Toyib. “Hey Cody! How will we get to the field?”
“We’ll go by my car. It’s in the garage. Let’s go,” said Cody.
When we were outside the house, I felt more suffer. I felt extremely hot. But I tried to ignore it, and so did my friends.
“This is my car,” said Cody.
I thought the car looked like a monorail. It was long and large.
“Come on! Every body get in!” said Cody.
After all of us got in, he closed the door.
“Okay, now think about that field. Think, think, and think. Concentration please,” said him. “Have you tought it?”
“Yes,,,,”
“Good,” then Cody pressed the button beside him. And we felt like we were sucked to the black hole. Almost the same sensation as we used the time machine. We spinned around and around. And when the spinned was over, I opened my ayes and surprisingly, we were on the field.
“Oh my God, that’s was very amazing trip,” saip Pasha.
“Guys. Let’s get out the car,” said Cody.
“Cody, that’s our time machine,” Adelia pointed toward the corner of the field. Our time machine was there.
We approached it and then Cody checked the machine.
“Let’s see what’s wrong with this machine,” said him.
When we were busy tried to repairing the machine, I felt a little movement beside me. It was Pasha.
“What’s wrong?” asked me.
“What? Oh…nothing,” replied him.
“Wait, your face looks so pale,” said me.
“I’m okay. I just have a bad feeling, that’s all,” answered Pasha weakly.
“Bad feeling? Well, maybe you should take a rest,” suggested me.
“No, no. I’ll be just fine,” refused Pasha.
Suddenly, the weather was change. The sky became darker and next, the rain fell heavily.
“Oh my God, what should we do?” asked Nazril, he looked panic.
“Get back to my car, quick!” cried Cody.
We tried to reach Cody’s car as fast as we could. Then, when all of us were in, Cody locked the door.
“Come on, Cody, let’s go to your house, hurry!” cried Josh.
“We can’t. the car won’t work if the rain fall. So, I guess we ust have to stay here until the rain stop,” said Cody.
“Hey, hey, looked at that! That’s a tornado,” cried Siti. She pointed toward the big and long wind that spinned very fast.
“Oh God, that’s so scary,” said Nazril.
“Don’t worry guys, as long as we stay in this car, we’ll be fine,” said Cody.
“Cody! I guess I’ve just seen a UFO,” said Ahong.
“UFO? Where?” asked Cody curiously.
“Look! The UFO landed near our time machine!” cried Pasha.
All of us looked at the UFO. We could see that the UFO had a door. When it slowly opened, we saw some ugly creature came out from the UFO.
“Oh, no! Those are aliens,” said Cody.

CHAPTER 6
Adelia
“Hey Cody, the rain has stopped,” said Pasha. “Let’s go to your house,”.
“Look! The aliens are getting closer to us!” shouted Josh.
I was extremely scared. The aliens approach us. I could barely see their ugly face. They looked like a troll which I have ever seen in one of my favorite movie. But they’re not as tall as the troll. Their eyes are small, red, and slummy. Their skin is dark and thick. Their body is very big but their feet are short. They are the ugliest creature I have ever seen.
“Let’s go to my house!” cried Cody. Suddenly, I felt the same sensation as I used the time machine. Cody drove his car very fast. So, less than five minutes later, we arrived at Cody’s house. We hurriedly get out of the car and went to the living room.
“What should we do, Cody?” asked me panic.
“We should use my Drive-X, it’s in the secret room! Come on, guys let’s go. Before the aliens reach here,” answered Cody calmly.
Cody took us to the secret room. After he entered some secret codes to the computer outside the room, the door was opened.
“That’s my Drive-X,” Cody pointed toward the vehicle which looked like a jet plane, but smaller.
“That’s amazing,” commented Asep.
“Hurry up! Get in!” said Cody.
All of us got in. Cody tried to operate the machine. But, unfortunately the machine didn’t work.
“Damn! I think the Drive-X is broken,” said Cody.
“Then, let’s fix it,” suggested Nunung.
“We don’t have much time, the aliens must be very close right now,” protested Cody. “We’ve got to find another way,”.
“How?” asked Siti.
“I don’t know, maybe we should…fight the aliens,” said Cody.
“Are you insane?” cried Ahong.
“We don’t have any other choice guys,” said Josh. “Cody’s right. The only way to survive is fight them back,”
“So, let’s make some plans,” said Cody.
“First, what things will we use to fight them? We don’t have any weapon,” said me.
“Yes we do, I mean I do,” said Cody. “I have some weapons to fight them, I put them in this room,”.
Cody walked to the cupboard in the corner of the room. Then, he took a black bag. Then opened it in front of us.
“Look! These are our weapons, guns to shoot the aliens. These are enough to all of us,” explained Cody.
Suddenly, we heard an exploded sound.
“That’s the aliens. They are near my house,” shouted Cody.
“Let’s fight then, “ replied all of us.
When we outside the house some aliens were waiting. They brought weapons which looked like a gun too.
“Oh my God, this is terrible,” said Nazril.
The war soon happened. The aliens took a first shot. It was almost got Siti.
One alien chased me. I brought my gun but I didn’t know how to use it. The alien kept after me. I ran as fast as I could. When I stopped to take a rest for a while, I realized that I had been gone too far from Cody’s house.
I turned my body and suddenly I was caught by the alien. It held me tightly so I could hardly move my body. My gun dropped down and I couldn’t took it. The alien brought me on its shoulder , I felt like dying and scared too. The alien smell very bad.
It took me back to Cody’s house. I saw that my friends were caught too. They were bound on the trees in front of Cody’s house.
The alien bound me too. Then, they laugh and went away.
After they gone, Cody tried to release us.
“Oh God, we were lost,” said Pasha.
“I really want to get back to our era,” said me.
“Me too,” replied Nazril.
“This is nightmare,” said Pasha.


CHAPTER 7
Nazril
Life is a riddle. One sentence that I had ever read in one of my favorite book when I was a child. This life is really full with the riddle. We would never know what we’ll happen or what we’ll get in the future. What we think impossible can come true somehow. Just like what happened to me and my friends this time.
When I was thirteen, my favorite movie was Evolution. I watched it over and over again, but I never felt bored. My favorite part was when all the actors and actresses had war against the aliens in the end of the story. From then on, I was a little obsessed with aliens. I started to against the aliens on video game. Then, I started to imagine about against the aliens in the real world.
Well, of course, as a normal kid. I had never wished that my dream would come true someday. I don’t even believe that the aliens are really existed.
But, seemed like I have to change my faith. Because this time, I really have to against the aliens in the real world. It was really weird when something that come up to my mind was just, this is going to be a good story for my parents.
Unfortunately, unlike the Evolution movie which had a happy ending, we lost over the aliens.

“Come on guys, don’t just give up like that! Wake up! I’m sure we can beat those ugly aliens,” said Cody.
“What? Are you insane? Yesterday we almost killed by them,” said me.
“Our failure isn’t the end of the story. I’m sure this time we’ll win,” protested Cody.
“Okay. Guys, I agree with Cody! I’m ready to war again,” said Josh.
“So do I,” said the other.
“But, how do we kick them all? Do you have any plans?” said Siti.
When all of us were busy of thinking how to overcome those aliens, apparently the aliens had found out what all people’s plans to beat them, because they knew that their present on earth wasn’t expected.
On the other hand, Pasha suggested to make a basement which is coated by the steel. We agreed over his plan.
Soon, we worked together made the basement. We worked all day long and without knowing the situation outside the house. As long as we stay in the basement, we thought about the strategy to defeat the aliens. We assembled and discuss about it.
“Do you have any strategy to defeat the aliens?” asked Cody.
“Well, how many times I heard that question this day? But, never mind. I have an idea, by the way. But, I think it is quite dangerous,” said me.
“Say it, Nazril,” supported Ahong.
“Ok, look, what if one of us disguise as the aliens and slither to their headquarter? Then we paralyze their main plane and break their weapon,” explained me.
“Actually, I agree, but who will go there?” said Pasha.
“What if we draw it to make sure who will do this task?” suggested Adelia.
“It’s not necessary, I’ll go there,” said Josh
“No, no. None of us must go there to attack them,” said Cody.
“Then how do we defeat them?” asked Toyib
“Hm, what if we make a robot which looks like the aliens and then we control that robot,” said Cody.
“Hey, that’s a good idea,” said me spiritful.
“Okay, let’s make the robot! Don’t waste the time,” said Cody.
“Yes, we’ll work together,” replied Asep.
“Wait, I guess something is missing,” said Cody.
“What is it?” asked Asep.
“Yes, what is it?” repeated Nunung.
“We don’t have the materials to make the robot,” said Cody.
“Oh God, I don’t remember that,” said Josh.
“Then, what should we do?” asked
“We must get all the materials, we’ll try all the way,” said Cody.
“That’s right, we must find it,” supported Siti.
“Come on! Let’s start looking,” said Josh.
When we were busy of finding the materials to make robot. Suddenly, Cody’s uncle come.
“Hi, what are you guys doing here?” asked him.
“Heeyyy,,Uncle. What are you doing here? It’s a surprised, really,” said Cody.
“Well, I want to see you Cody, I haven’t visited your home for a long time,” said Cody’s uncle. “By the way, who are they, Cody?”
“They are my new friends, uncle. This is Pasha, Josh, Ahong, Nazril, Asep, Toyib, Adelia, Siti, and Nunung. They come from the past. Well, it’s a long story. I don’t have much time to tell you about it. But uncle, we want to ask your help. Yesterday, the aliens attack us, and no, we want to attack them. We need some materials to make a robot to defeat them,” explained Cody.
“Oh, that’s a coincidence. I have some materials to make some robots in my house,” said Cody’s uncle.
“Hey, that’s great uncle!” said Cody.
“What if all of you come to my house to finished your robot with my materials? I’ll help you,” said Cody’s uncle.
“Okay, let’s go,” said Pasha.
After we had the invitation from Cody’s uncle to go to his house, we went there and see the materials to make robot. Finally, we arrived at Cody’s uncle’s house.
“Come on, get in!” said Cody’s uncle. “Let’s go to my warehouse.”
“Wow, this warehouse is amazing,” said Asep, right after we arrived at the warehouse.
“Yes, it is. This warehouse is full of many sophisticated things to make robots,” agreed ma.
“Come on, choose the materials that you need,” said Cody’s uncle.
Then we looked for the materials that we need. After we found it, we went to Cody’s uncle’s house and started to make the robot. It was very very hard job. Especially, because I was totally blind of the robot. But, because of our patient and hard work, the robot was finished.
We tried to operate the robot. We try the robot spiritfully. The robot was very big. All of us could get into it. We operate it by ourselves, and helped by the remote control. So, we share the job, each people held one weapon. Cody’s uncle checked the robot.
“Wow, this is amazing. You’re genius,” said him. “This is perfect and looks like the aliens a lot. Great!” said him.
“Thank’s uncle. Guys, we made it!” cried Cody.
“Yesss,” said me and all of my friends.
We brought our weapon. Pasha prepared the strategy to against the alien. The robot was the most sophisticated thing on the war. All of us get into the robot. Then, we were ready to go to their headquarter.


CHAPTER 8
Nazril
Actually, I didn’t agree with Cody’s idea to fight back the aliens. I dint want to face them again. The first experience was a nightmare. And I couldn’t imagine how would this experience was going to be. Believe me, fighting the aliens was the last thing that I would do in this world. But, I was too shy to say that I was scared. So, I just came along with their plan. No matter what would it takes.
After we were ready to attack the aliens’ headquarter, we went there very carefully and tried to not make some noise. We went there by Cody’s car and parked the car far away from the aliens’ headquarter. And we walked while pretended to be an alien.
“This is the craziest thing I have ever done,” said Adelia.
“I know, I’m just worry the aliens will find out that we are the fake one,” commented Toyib.
“Don’t worry guys, my uncle said that we looked like a real alien. They won’t find out that we are fake, unless you do some silly thing!” said Cody.
“Cody’s right,” said Josh. “Now, keep walking.”
Finally, we arrived at aliens’ headquarter. We started looking an enter door. Apparently, there was a guard in front of an enter door. We were confused.
“What should we do?” asked me. “There’s a guard. We can’t come in.”
“Cody, we can’t come in!” said Nunung.
“Are you lost your mind? Don’t you remember that we are looking like an alien? That stupid guard won’t find out,” said Cody. “Come on, let’s pass him!

Point of the story : Travelling by time machine had made Pasha and his friends stuck in the future. The technology in the future made them impress, but they also suffered with the wheather. When the sun shone very extremely hot, they had to wear a very thick clothes to prevent the UV light from the sun which is caused by global warming. The hot sunlight also invited the aliens from other planet to attack the earth. Didn’t want to get injured, Pasha and his friends had to repair the time machine that broke right after they arrived in the future.

CHAPTER ONE

PASHA

When I was a child, I always wondered why do people have to be a grown-up someday. I mean, being a child is rock. You have a mother and a father who will always spoil you and if you do something stupid, they won’t get mad to you. But, now I understand why we can’t be a child for good. Because being a teenager is more than rock. And do you know what is the coolest thing of being a teenager? You can have many friends. Friends that will always be on your side in every situation.

Well, my name is Pasha. I’m an eleventh grader. My favorite lesson is Physic, it’s kinda weird because more than a half of students at school hate this lesson. I want to be a mechanist someday, and that’s why I love this lesson. I always do my best to pursue my dream. Some says that I’m a workaholic ( well, I don’t think workaholic is the right word, cause I’m just a student. how about studyholic?) but they all love me. And though nobody is perfect, I try to be a perfect boy.

Most of the students at school knows me, but I have eight closest friends, that I always called my best friends.

First, there is Nazril. Maybe his name reminds you to one of the famous vocalist from our local band. But not, he’s not that guy. Not even close. However, he is kindhearted. Actually he is smart, but unfortunately he’s careless.

Next, I have Adelia. She’s a tomboy girl, talk-ative, and loved to be spoilt. She wears glasses. Before I know her, I heard some rumours that she wears glasses to cover her identity who is the daughter of the Governor. But, after I know her, I knew that the rumours is totally a fake. She wears glasses because she loves reading very much and her eyes are minus. For those who don’t know her, she may seem a little bit arrogant and bossy. Actually, she’s a pretty and kindness girl.

Josh, what can I say about this boy? Clearly, he’s the most wanted guy at school. More and more girl adore him. When you walk beside him , you’ll feel like you’re invisible. Because all the eyes look straight to the charming handsome creature beside you. Sometime I wonder why do the God made a perfect boy like that. He’s smart, that’s why all the teacher love him. He’s tall, bright skinned, and handsome of course. That make all the girls love him. And he’s very care to all of his friends, that’s why I love him.

Toyib, strong-minded boy. The wisest among us. Eventhough he comes from a little family, he can make friends with everybody. He’s easy going too. The priority of his life is his family, and he always says that we are apart of his family.

After that, Ahong. Who doesn’t know him? Everybody knows him, the students, the teacher, even the security knows him well. Not because he’s as smart and handsome as Josh, but because he’s the son of CEO of the big and success company in this state, and he’s the only Chinese boy at school. Ahong is a little arrogant, that’s why some people don’t like him. He always thought that he can have everything he wants because he has a lot of money. But the good thing is, he always share his property to us.

Siti is the only person among my best friends who has a job. She works part time at the fast food restaurant near the school. Sometime she helps her mother in the laundry. She’s very friendly and always be there whenever we need her.

Well, this friend of mine make me have to close my ears whenever she talk or yell. Why? Because she has a very bad loud voice. Her name is Nunung. She’s very hyperactive and can’t sit still just for an hour. But the good thing is, she’s down to earth.

Last, there is Asep. Hm, just from his name you can guess that he is a Sundanese. This forgetful boy is sometimes can be so introvert . He’s truly believe to a trial and error method. That’s why he never give up upon everything.

Well, enough about my friends. Better if I told you how we met for the first time until we can be best friends.

I, Toyib, Siti, Nunung, and Asep are from the same Junior High School. We knew each other for such a long time. And we register to the same Senior High School. Harapan High School. We joined the test, and surprisingly we all got it. In the morning on our very first day at new school, we were told to wear a hat from plastic and for the girls, they had to bunch their hair into two part.

Siti was getting mad because I said that her hair looked like the horse’s tail and we all laughed. When the bell rang, we separated to different group. But we still always together. The days gone. Unfortunately, on the third day, we all were late. I knew long before I arrive at school the punishment would welcome us just right after our feet pass the school gate. And it was true. We stood separately from other students. It was a coincidence because Nazril, Nunung, Josh, and Ahong were late too. And that’s the first time I met them. From then on we became best friends.

That morning, I began to school after a long holiday. At school I shared all my experiences when holiday and so did my friends. The bell rang, so I and my friends enter the class soon. We were ready to study.

It was very very quite when suddenly there was a voice of knocking door. Tok…tok…tok… One of the school employee came in.

“Sorry for bothering all of you, the head master called Pasha to come to his office as soon as possible. Thank you”

I was surprised. Did I do something wrong? Would I be punished? But I go to his office anyway.

“ Come in,” said the head master’s voice.

He stared as Pasha came to the office.

“ Well, congratulations Pasha, I’m so proud of you”,

“ What? I don’t understand Sir, What do you congratulate for?” What’s is this all about. I was so confused.

“ Congratulatons because you got the scholarship,”

“Really, Sir? What did I get the scholarship? I’m not that smart, Sir. I think Josh much smarter than me,”

“ Your smart in mechanic makes you got the scholarship, and Josh got it too, but in the different subject of course, everybody have their own capability.”

“Oh, okay Sir, thank you very much,”

I was very very happy. Who knows that I would got the scholarship. I never ever thought that my interested in mechanic can brought a scholarship to me.

When I came back to the class, all of my friends stared at me curiously. Well, well, well, I could read their mind. But what happened in the head master’s room is a surprised. I wasn’t gonna tell them, not now. I came to the class with my smile on my face. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize that Mrs. Stebel, the most killer teacher at school, look at me.

“ Pasha, where have you been?” said her angrily.

“ Oh, I’m sorry ma’am. The head master called me to his office,”

“Really? And what kind of punishment did you got?” interrogate her.

“Not punishment Ma’am, the head master said that I got a scholarship,” Suddenly, all of my friends looked very surprised. Oh my God, Mrs. Stebel has just opened my secret. And hearing my answer, she became speechless.

“Ok then, you can back to your seat”, said her after a few moment.

All of my friends interrogated me right after I sit.

“Is that true, Pasha?” asked Nunung.

“AND SILENCE,” Mrs. Stebel cut off our conversation.

The bell rang, time to break now. I and my friends went to the canteen. They looked so hungry, but actually I wasn’t hungry.

“Let’s buy some toasts,” said Siti.

“I’d rather buy pizza, my favorite food,” said Ahong.

“Guys, you can see, it is very crowded at the canteen. Why don’t we go to the library?” suggested me.

“Are you crazy? Who are you and what have you done to our Pasha? Come on, in the library when the break time, what kind of people are you?” yelled Toyib.

“ Time is Money. Beside, I want to read about mechanic, and I’m not hungry,” said me.

“Ok, we’ll go to the canteen and you to the library. See you at the class,” said Asep.

In the class, the teacher hasn’t came.Pasha told his friends all about mechanic that he read at the library.

“ Guys, I read something interesting about mechanic at the library,” told me.

“ About what?” asked Adelia...

“ About the time machine. It was very great. You should read it. We can see the future and the past,” answered me.

“ Who invented it?” asked Nazril.

“ I don’t know, but the book said that the time machine had sent two people to the future. I wish I could make a time machine someday,” said me.

“Well, keep dreaming Boy,” said Josh. After that, the teacher came in.
It was a very cold morning, the rain fell heavily so we couldn’t go to the canteen. We just sat outside the class in the school corridor. I didn’t know why, but I couldn’t stop staring at the room on the edge of the school corridor. It was just like there was something that always makes me to come to that room. Some people called that room the secret room, nobody entered to it for years. It was said that the room is scary and very very dangerous. That’s why nobody never come in to that room, they even didn’t want to get any closer.
“What do you staring at?” ask Siti.
“ What? Nothing. I was just wondering about the room at the edge of this corridor, the secret room. I don’t know, but I feel that there’s something interesting there,” answered me.
“ Are you insane? That room is scary. I don’t even want to get any closer,” said Adelia.
“ Please don’t say that you want to get in,” said Asep.
“ No, I don’t. At least, not now,” said me.








CHAPTER 2
JOSH
Something weird happened this morning. When I entered the class and went to my locker, I found a bouquet of rose and a bar of chocolate in it. Who sent them to me? Well, whoever sent them, they must be don’t know much about me. I hate chocolate and there’s nothing you can do with flowers but pour them on the graveyard. I looked a note on a chocolate, then I found who sent it, it was Jeniffer Blue, a girl whose name I had never know before. She said that she is my secret admire. But, I didn’t care. Sometimes I wondered, why is the girls always chasing me? Yeah, I knew the answer. Because I’m the most wanted guy in school. They loved me because I’m handsome, they loved me because I’m smart. Wait, here was the problem, if I’m smart I should have known the answers of every questions. But, last night Asep called me and said that Pasha was interested with the secret room on the edge of the corridor. Why was he interested with that room? Well, I didn’t have an answer for this question. I meant, how could someone can be so interested with that scary, smell bad, and dirty room? There were nothing interesting there. At least for me, and for the other normal people.

It was after school. Actually , that was a perfect day to play football or basket. But pasha came to me and he said this,
“Josh, do you know the secret room at the edge of the school corridor?”
“Yeah, I know,” said me. “What did you ask me that question?”
“Mm..yeah.. I don’t know why but I feel interested with that room. I think, perhaps there’s something there. Something…wonderful…or…great,”
“Well, I don’t think so,” said me quickly.
“Oh, please, I really want to enter that room, but I don’t want to do that alone,”
“Why don’t you ask Nunung, Toyib, Ahong, or the others? I’m busy now,”
“Busy? But you’re doing nothing now,”
“Yeah, but I……”
“That room is more interesting than just sitting down here and see the empty class, plus, Jennifer Blue will be here in any minute, I know this is her favorite place,”
“O really? Then let’s go,”
“You’ll go? To the secret room? Oh, thank you,”
“Yes I’ll go….to my home,”
Pasha looked very disappointed.

Today, Pasha started to pursue our friends to enter the secret room with him.
“Guys, you know that our school has a secret room. It’s said that the room is very scary. And it had never been opened for years. What if we enter that room together? That’ll be interesting,”
“No Pasha,” said Adelia. “You know that room is scary and I don’t want to take a risk.”
“Right, you don’t recklessness,” supported Ahong.
“ Well, it’s better than curious,” said Pasha. “Come on guys!”
“We’ll think about that later,” said me.
